vi•vac•i•ty - definition: the state of being lively and high-spirited etymology: Latin vivac-, vivax, literally, long-lived, from vivere to live

The definition sounds great, right? Wouldn’t we all like to have this quality? But it’s really difficult to embody this quality when you are constantly plagued by chronic pain, stress and anxiety, tension, sleeplessness, fatigue or all of the above! You may have even felt bad for so long that you’ve forgotten what it’s like to feel good and enjoy life… to really live. You may also feel like you’ve tried everything, from medications to surgery, and nothing has worked…. so why should this? Because this is different! At Vivacity we employ a hands on stretch called myofascial release, as developed and taught by John F. Barnes.  This whole body approach is designed to open up the tension in your connective tissue, relieving pressure off nerves, blood vessels, and other delicate tissues. This allows for a return of more normal nerve transmission and blood flow to the area, thus allowing the body to begin to heal itself. It also helps to restore proper alignment in the body, which results in decreased stress on other problem areas.  With myofascial release, we are not just treating your symptoms, we are treating the cause!
